Meleagra is a symbol of rurality, yet without a defined form.
In its contradictory nature, it embodies the drive to open up to explanations and conclusions, fully aware of its tormented adherence to multiplicity.
Meleagra manifests as a heterogeneous belonging, embedded in all bodies.
Meleagra is a shapeshifting chanteuse, telling dreamlike tales where art and rurality confront each other only to merge.
Soon, you will encounter her among other rural creatures of care.

Meeting Gardens Vol.1 is the first publication of Meeting Gardens. Practicing the rural through art and care for sustainable and inclusive perspectives, curated by ife collective, made possible with the support of the European Solidarity Corps.
The volume is the result of a collection of free contributions that emerged from the experience of those who participated in the project, at the end of its first edition, starting from a rethinking of rurality through a non-nostalgic lens.
