Project by Bucce Studio and ife collective
Curated by ife collective and Meeting Gardens Alternative Program
With the patronage and support of the Municipality of Vicenza and the support of Fondazione Roi and Fondazione Monte di Pietà
Vicenza, 2025
We live and we are Scrabula, an unstable community of living, possible scraps, capable of desires and imaginations. In this whirlwind, we are moved by the excitement of exploration, of visions born of the wonder of collective discoveries. We decline, we relate, we handle with joy and tenacity the material, the residual, rejected, abandoned subjects.
Scrabula is the third edition of Meeting Gardens Festival, a travelling exhibition born from collaborations and communities, even temporary ones, an invitation to take part in a collective journey of reflection and activation on contemporary issues, starting from the experience within vegetable gardens, gardens and cultural realities of the territory related to contemporary languages.
Through the involvement of agricultural, environmental and cultural realities, Scrabula engages in a range of proposals aimed at broadening the theme of waste through the research, works and perspectives of artists, researchers and the entire Meeting Gardens network.
Three days of exhibitions, practices, dialogues, workshops and explorations to create new ways of living together within our ecosystems in a sustainable and collaborative way, starting from the experience of working in vegetable gardens and gardens.
